A message from Miss Jess:
Hello, everyone! I hope you all have had a great start to the week! I just wanted to let you know that it is Robbie Burns season! If any of you are interested in taking in some Burns festivities, there is a dinner this coming Saturday at the Champion community hall. If you are interested in tickets, please contact Susan Heather at 403-485-3660. Susan Heather is a friend of mine who also teaches dance. She will be doing a Robbie Burns performance with some of her dancers this Thursday in High River. I am unable to be there, but she asked me to extend an invitation to any dancers who might want to dance with her dancers. She doesn't need a lot of dancers since it is quite a short performance and a small space, but if it interests you at all please let me know and I will give you more details!
I had also previously sent a couple competition entry forms, and there will be more to come. If there are any dancers wanting/planning to compete, let me know and I will get ScotDance card forms to you. If you don't know what competing entails and would like some more info, let me know and I will give you the rundown on what is required.
I have also received our exam date this year!! Exams will be during the day on March 3. I will be sending out exam recommendations as well as a schedule for extra exam classes for some of the more advanced students who might benefit from the extra time!
I hope you all have wonderful evening. As always let me know if you have any questions about anything!

Hello dance families,
I hope you're all doing well. I just wanted to let you all know that we are allowed to do our Christmas dance outs again this year! Instead of classes the week before Christmas we will be dancing at a couple senior homes.
I have set up 2 performances. The first is at seasons on Wednesday, December 14th at 7:00pm. The second one is at the Medicine Tree Manor on Monday, December 19th at 7:00pm. Please let me know which you plan to attend, so I can plan the dance list and order accordingly.
If any of you have questions about anything regarding performances (costumes, shoes, dances, etc), please don't hesitate to contact me. Both performances begin at 7 (probably last about 30-40 minutes), so if dancers could be dressed and ready to dance by 6:45 that would be perfect.
After these performances we will have our Christmas break and classes will resume in the new year!
Have a great weekend, Jess

A message from Miss Jess:
Hello everyone, I have been contacted about face-to-face exams for this year. They haven't been 100% confirmed yet, so I don't have an exact date, but it looks like end of February/beginning of March, if they do happen. Fingers-crossed! We will just proceed as if they are happening, so I will be sending out the recommendations for what your dancers are ready for. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will pass along information as soon as I hear solid plans and dates.
I also wanted to let you know that I am planning on having the year-end recital on the evening of Wednesday, June 22nd, so please plan on being there and let your friends and family know so they can come cheer on our wonderful dancers!
