A message from Miss Jess:
Hello, everyone! I hope you all have had a great start to the week! I just wanted to let you know that it is Robbie Burns season! If any of you are interested in taking in some Burns festivities, there is a dinner this coming Saturday at the Champion community hall. If you are interested in tickets, please contact Susan Heather at 403-485-3660. Susan Heather is a friend of mine who also teaches dance. She will be doing a Robbie Burns performance with some of her dancers this Thursday in High River. I am unable to be there, but she asked me to extend an invitation to any dancers who might want to dance with her dancers. She doesn't need a lot of dancers since it is quite a short performance and a small space, but if it interests you at all please let me know and I will give you more details!
I had also previously sent a couple competition entry forms, and there will be more to come. If there are any dancers wanting/planning to compete, let me know and I will get ScotDance card forms to you. If you don't know what competing entails and would like some more info, let me know and I will give you the rundown on what is required.
I have also received our exam date this year!! Exams will be during the day on March 3. I will be sending out exam recommendations as well as a schedule for extra exam classes for some of the more advanced students who might benefit from the extra time!
